    My New Boa
I found a gem yesterday -- the last independently owned, non-chain pet store in my area. To my delight they breed their own RTBs. This guy is 7 mos. old. I have no clue what to name him. He was alright yesterday but when I checked on him this morning he struck at me twice  . I assume they're nippy as babies maybe? Any ideas for a name for the little stinker?

Not sure for a name. Just leave him be for a week or so with no handling but you indeed could try offering a meal to see if he will take it, if he doesn't, no worries, if he does, that means he is comfortable enough in his new home and you should be happy. Can you show pics of your setup?

As for a name, I like Tito since I was just watching UFC and how Tito Ortiz is always "nippy"

Thanks for the advice! The strikes were a bit of a surprise since I haven't dealt with that before but I figured after letting him get settled in I'll just jump in with a glove on or remove him with a towel if I have to.

This is the setup. Does this look big enough? I have several tubs I can change him to if it's not, but looking at it, I wasn't sure.

The temperatures on the hotside is in the 80s and rising, the humidity is up to 40%. He was a bit of a surprise so that's why the tub wasn't set up prior.

I love UFC, but I don't like Tito ;D Tim Sylvia is the man.

I did get to see the parents. They were beautiful and looked heatlhy, I was a little peeved that they were housed together. The owners of the store seemed to have "Petco knowledge" so I had to kind of bite my tongue. Like when they forced a box into my hand and insisted 'You HAVE to feed him in a box, he's used to it,' 'No you HAVE to use a heat lamp,' 'We would never sex our animals, no one can do that without hurting them'... Ok lady...
