4 rats later and still no poop?
is it normal for them to hold in 4 small rats? my girl is about 2 ft long... i think about a year old the guy said or so.
ive fed her the last 4 weeks, shes eaten like a pro... no hesitation at all..
but i dont see how she keeps 4 small rats inside her and still hasnt pooped??
she looks way bigger than she did when i 1st got her of course.
oh and off that topic.... what would make her only want to stay in the cold side? both sides are perfect temps, both hides are exactly the same. so im kinda confused.

Don't worry about the poop their not like us they go alot less often.LOL If all your husbandry is right you shoudn't worry about her being on the cool end sometimes. Oh one more thing expect to see poop after sheds those are the fun ones to clean up.

thanks... i just didnt know how quick they digest things, and how she fits 4 small rats inside her.. i know a few weeks with no poop is normal, but i dont know how often that is with feeding every week.
my husbandry is right, but she stays ONLY in the cool side.. never the hot.
oh and speaking of, shes shedding right now, so maybe she'll poop after shed.

Poop can vary from BP to BP... some go near weekly, others may go monthly. If you want, you could give her a nice soak. Just make sure that the water only comes up to about halfway on the snake's body and that it feels barely warm on your wrist. This may encourage her to deficate.
Oh yeah, a lot of times they'll leave you a nice "present" after a shed. :D
