    ARS Caging
Well I've got my eye on this ARScaging rack. I like it because it's affordable and can be purchased by level, rather than dropping 1k all at once...$125/level

My question is about the tub dimensions. Will 33" x 17" x 5.25" work out for adult ball pythons?

They're the same tub dimensions as the FB racks... and I think more than a few big breeders use those. ;)

I think Jamie had an ARS rack for a while and wrote up a review somewhere around here...

    Nate,

That tub is more than enough space for even the biggest Ball Pythons. I would caution you to make sure your room heating and humidity is suitable for an open air cage. ARS makes a great quality rack that will last a long time!

Jamie...is exactly right. I have one too and love it but as an open air cage system(like FB) you need to heat the room (and have the right room humidity).

    Room temps are ~80, and it's Florida....Humidity is never a problem :D

Then you are all set...I have had mine about a year...my only complaint is that I bought the tubs with the built in water dished and wish I hadn't...otherwise I have zero complaints and this thing is rock solid.

Edit...the tub is my issue not the fault of the rack :)

I bought the 70 series ball python rack from AR as well and I have to say I LOVE IT. As for the tubs, I'm surprised you don't like them, I found they keep water dishes from being spilled, which is all I ask. The rack is qualiy and the service is PHENOMENAL! No problems with heat and humidity hear and I'm in NJ. Also, Brian does a great job of getting the rack to you quickly, within a week it's at your house! These racks are the new Freedom Breeders, only with an owner who cares about the little guy. Now I'm looking into a mouse breeding rack, and if you can't tell already, I know where I'm going to get it....
