    Remember me?
    Hi everyone!

I first joined and posted back in late January because we wanted to learn about ball pythons. I'm the potter that made the hershey's kiss hides, LOL!We'd promised my daughter she could get a snake if she got straight A's on her report card, and she wanted a ball python. Well, we got the cage set up and everything ready and.....she didn't quite make it. One B.

Yesterday she finally brought home her perfect report card! Yippee! We contacted Kim at NARC and should be picking one up in a few days.

I want to thank everyone for all the support and advice we'd gotten when we were first learning and setting up for the snake. We are really excited and will post photos when we bring it home! I'm sure I'll be posting with a lot more questions in the future!

Oh that's wonderful and congrats to your daughter on bringing home those great grades! We did the same thing with our two middle kids (teenagers) when it came time for them to want their own snakes. Good grades earned them respectively a boa for Luke and a milksnake for Beth. Gotta love it! Can't wait to see pics of the ball python once you get it home and settled in.

We just got back from NARC with our new girl...I'm guessing 18 months old? And Kim and Matt are a LOT younger than I expected...LOL...what GORGEOUS snakes they have! I saw some stunning sables and my first pied in person...drool, drool...

Anyway, my daughter, Katie, would NOT let go of the very first snake she was handed, so even though I tried to tempt her with some really cool patterns....she wanted this normal girl. Ah, well, it seems to be a pretty calm snake so we are both happy:
