    Rubbermaid/Sterilite sizes?
What size tub should I get for a breeding cycle of rats and mice? These wont be in a rack. i will probably have 1.3-4 rats and mice, separated of coarse, in the tubs. Thanks!

With 4-5 rats in there you need something large to give them room to move around and nest...I wouldn't go anything smaller than a 95 QT (which is about 3' long)

But even this big you will be cleaning a lot to keep the smell down.

Another thought...are you sure you really need this much. Each girl on average will have 10-12 babies and with the male in with all the girls you could end up with 40-50 babies at the same time...do you really need that much? If so you are better off building a rack. If not then back down to a tub with only 2 girls and move the male to a seperate cage. (and move the girl to him when you are ready to breed her)

I have 1.4 in a 32 quart, then put preggos in a 15 quart alone.

This is another option...but you still risk having all 4 females pregnant at the same time. Which is fine if you can deal with all the kiddos. :D
