Cold-loving BP?

Does anyone have a BP who prefers colder temperatures? Mine (~22") would wedge himself in between his water dish and the wall of the tank (so I named him Everett, because he likes to be in a "tight spot." This makes sense if you've seen "O Brother, Where art thou?), which I discovered was the coolest spot in the tank. I have the warm side at 93 and he used that hide with fair frequency, but when he wanted to go to the cool side (~83 degrees) he would always go to that cold spot and ignore the identical hide on the cool side.
So I backed off the temp on the cool side to 75, and now he spends as much time in that hide as in the warm hide. And after feeding, he always goes to the cold spot. Has anyone experienced these type of behavior trends? Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris, i've got one girl that does exactly the same. She only goes to the warm side of the tub when she ate. I think this has something to do with digestion. I don't think it's a problem, some people like a warm house and some like it cold. Depends on the person, and on the snake....
