    breeding crickets and fruitflies
Does anyone know any good sites or any information you could give me about breeding crickets or flightless fruitflies? If so, that would help me out a lot, thanks! :)

I found this great site on crickets: http://www.herphabitats.com/reptile_...g_crickets.htm But would anyone know about the flightless fruitflies?

In our bio lab we keep them alive with mashed ripe banana. They eat the banana and lay eggs. The eggs hatch within 10 days and your new fruit flies are born. Hope that helps :-)

This is where I would get all my fly supplies from when I was breeding panther chameleons. http://www.flyculture.com/
I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that when you buy the media and preservative or if you ask it comes with instructions on what to do.

One of the large cups from them will produce thousands of flies. I think I had a couple dozen cups going at a time.
