San Antonio Vet -- Dr. Hill -- EXCELLENT!
Well, if anyone in the San Antonio area is looking for a herp vet, I now know one personally that I can recommend.

Dr. Hill of Kirby Animal Hospital
    4623 Binz-Engleman Rd
    661-6717

I had to take Kisasa in for my first snake-vet visit. Dr. Hill's appointments were booked solid for the day, but she managed to squeeze me in without too much of a wait on my part. She was very confident and competent in handling K and in talking about snakes in general. Even though I was an "in-between" patient, she gave us her undivided attention and took her time examining K and discussing her with me. And the charges were extremely reasonable as well.

I'll start a different thread in a more appropriate forum to tell the story of why K was at the vet to start with...but I just wanted to say here, for the record, that I would be very comfortable recommending Dr. Hill to anyone in the area needing treatment for their snake.

I'll make a note of this for the future. Glad there's at least one good snake vet down there!
