Plead For Breeders Help!

It is very well known that people are trying to keep people from having snakes for pets which in my opion is wrong because it interfears with the freedom of rights because this is a free world. So people has made it to where we can not get live rats to feed our snakes which makes me so mad because it is so stupitd. So for us to be able to have pet snakes so please breedrs if all can put your snakes on mice as for feeders atleast for the small snakes I know on the large snakes you can not or atleast before you sell them have them on mice so for us people that has them for pets we can find food for them. I do not know about all states but here in Mississippi I can not get live feeder rat pupps for my 6 month old ball python. So please don't let this happen so we can keep enjoying our snakes as pets. I have not had good luck at all at getting my bp to change over from rat pupps to mice he just refuse to eat a mice and all he wants is live pupps so breeders helps us in any way all can it sure would greatful and helps us alot to.

If it is so difficult to get live feeders, why not convert your ball to F/T or breed your own rats?

just another suggestion. I know that most good breeders are happy to convert snakes to whatever you need to feed. i waited an extra month for Adam to send me my boys so that they could get used to F/T mice.

Where have they made it impossible to buy live rats for snake feeders?

Why not just switch them to FT rats?

I appreciate your concerns, but it's impractical to think that all regions are the same when it comes to feeding your snake. My advice would be to contact the person or breeder that you wish to purchase a snake from, and ask if they can accomodate your requests. Many breeders would be happy to feed either mice, rats, live, or F/T if you just ask. If they can't accomodate you, they may be able to refer you to someone that can.

As far as your snake is concerned, if he is able to take frozen/thawed rats I would suggest that you either purchase them from one of the many F/T rodent companies or breed your own.

Angela. Depending on where you are I might be able to temporarily take your snake and see if I can get it to take mice.. I have had no problem getting any of mine to convert over. And if not I can find you live rat pups.
