    Duct Tape and eggs
All my tubs have holes in them, instead of buying new tubs for eggs, can i place a peice of duct tape over the holes? Will the fumes be any harm? I wouldnt think so since people (me included) use duct tape to tape the flex watt inside the fridge.

The only difference I can think of is when you duct tape flexwatt on and use sealed tubs for the eggs the fumes don't come in direct contact with the eggs. If you used the tape to cover holes then the fumes could get into the tubs through the holes that they cover. Whether the fumes would effect them I don't know but I wouldn't want to risk any eggs to find out.

maybe a little bit of glad press and seal......saw someone else recommend that in another thread......sounded like one hell of an idea. then you might be able to tape over that.

Why not just pay $3 for some more tubs, you can pay that or less at Dollar General - I've seen some pictures of what Ralph uses, and it's the same thing that Dollar General has for that price.

Duct tape (or any tape) x snake = disaster

I'd be worried about babies hatching out and getting stuck to the tape.

Six or twelve quart tubs are affordable enough to just buy more.

If you ever need to cover holes in a pinch, try to use the blue masking tape. The adhesive isn't very strong and won't harm your snakes.

Still... it would be better to just pick up a new tub if you can.
