    stress????
what are some good signs of an animal being stressed not eating for one but waht are some others just wondering while i was looking at my male bp and hes different from my female he just sets in my lap and doesnt move at all my female is a little explorer. nither have ever missed a meal. and seem happy but how do i tell? hide during day and around midnight they both come out female like i said explores except after just feeding of couser and male kinda just sits and stares in general direction of the tv. lol my female used to watch tv with me she would do the little cobra stance and stare at the tv for minutes on end it was freaking bad ass. lol.

Some others would be hissing/striking, constant movement and refusal to use hides. It sounds like you have a shy bp who is not comfortable with checking their surroundings out. If they're eating, I wouldn't worry too much as long as their husbandry is spot on.

You could also use Adam's crunched up newspaper method. Just crunch up some news paper and stick it in the tank, it may help relieve some stress. :)

well my female seems like she is fine and my male is perfect but i have noticed a difference in personality between the two but then again just like all people snakes differ from one another . nither has ever refused to use hides or to eat except the male when i first got him other than that they both seem pretty happy. except when i let them meet for the first time i wwas curious what thay would do and i could tell my female got very angry/stressed. the male didnt even notice she was there then again he came from a tank with a few bps in it i think there was one or two others with him and he may still be used to it but she hasnt seen another snake for about 8 months now. :sabduel:
