Explain to me what "dinkin" is........
I see this all the time.."dinkin projects", tryin' a little dinkin' with this male, etc. Could someone please explain what this is(in terms I can understand :P) and how it works with some examples as well? Thanks. Maybe it would be a good thread for newbies too..:D

Dinking (or dinkin) is a project with a snake that has a look that may or may not be genetically reproducible. Its a fun little side project to "see what happens". Hope this helps!

a "dinkin" project is one with an interesting individual, that may have something about him/her that you think, hey thats not quite a normal, then you try and prove it out. Someone will probably post some pics of their dink projects, i know cue has one or two.

EDIT:ah slow on the reply! like jglass said

Oh. I see. For example, yopu see a normal at a show with a wicked cool unusual pattern, and breed it to see if the pattern could be passed to offspring, and eventually plan on incorporating into an albino or pastel project. i think I got it!

    Exactly...

Most people have a snake they think is outstanding, and basically keep it as a side project and hope it proves out.

    I know I have a couple...
