What in the world? Regurge question..
 I know I just posted today already, but I just went to look at Zeke and he was freaking out. He was like sitting there with him mouth open, and he was like squirming around and stuff. He just puked up this clear mucus-like stuff. I tried to feed him last night, but he wouldnt eat [which is why I finally decided to switch to a tub]. We got shots from the vet to give to him for a skin infection. Do you think that may have caused it? What should I do??
Here are pics..

PLEASE HELP!! I'm really freaking out right now!!
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
He has a respiratory infection, a pretty advanced one from the looks of it. Don't try to feed him. Make sure he's nice and warm, and get him into the vet immediately for treatment. It will not go away untreated, and left untreated, could kill him. He should be fine until Monday if you keep him warm and can't afford an emergency vet right now.
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
we just took him to the vet last week, and the vet said that he doesn't have a repsiratory infection.
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
Take him back to the vet and have the vet do a RI (respiratory infection) culture on him. I know when my BP gang had a really bad RI my big girl puked up a mucus ball which looked exactly like that in your pictures.
What kind of shots did the vet give you for the skin condition/infection? Does he have scale rot?
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
Since I can't edit my post, I'll post this:
I just read your other thread you wrote about him opening his mouth and having bubbles and being able to hear him breath. THEY ARE ALL 100% SIGNS OF AN RI! RI's are nothing to play around with or to be let go. They will not go away unless treated. I urge you to take Zeke back to that vet, or to find another herp vet who can diagnose snakes a bit better.
For the time being you can let him soak in some warm water for 30-40 minutes. The warm water and humidity it makes will help loosen up the mucus in his lungs. It will help him be able to breath a easier. Do this daily till you take him back to the vet.
GOOD LUCK!

May I ask what kind of vet did you go to? Was he an herp vet?
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
We took him to Richard Funk [he's the president of ARAV] and yes, he's a herp vet. He got Zeke to open his mouth while we were there and listened to his breathing for a few minutes, and there weren't any sounds at all..
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
I'd take him back and have him do a culture, that mucus that came out of his mouth is not normal.
Re: What in the world? Regurge question..
I probably won't be able to take him back until this saturday, though. I MIGHT be able to go on thursday since it's early release, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Do you think he'll be okay until then?

If it were me, I wouldn't wait - I'd take the day off from work or shuffle my schedule around. He can't cough to clear his lung, so it's got to be very uncomfortable for him.
