    Decorating tank
Ok so me and my girl friend are gettin creative and instead of spending 100 for a herp tank with a rockwall, we want to make one out of plaster or paper mache or something. My question is if that is ok to use like toxic wise, and we would want to paint it to match, would that be ok as long as it is dried very well before putting it in the tank? I was just wondering especially because of the humidity in there.

If your set on going that route, you might want to actually build a real wall with rocks & silicone or concrete? I don't see anything "paperish" holding up to humidity???? :confuzd: But who knows!?!? :P

Do you know if fiberglass would be bad/harmfull? it is dangerous and will irritate while its wet, but when it dries its like glass but not...doesnt smell if its really dry and holds very well, plus its moldable...i was thinking of makeing a tank out of it, but havnt got to research that yet.

Check out this link if you want to make a good fake rock wall. I haven't done it myself but it looks fairly straightforward. Good luck with your wall!
