Switching Atmospheres?

So i was curious, every once in awhile i change the layout of my cage around, the same things are still in there, i just kind of make it different. may have a log or something on one side for a month, then kind of change the scenery around the next time.

Is this bad for the BP? I've done it a few times now, and it doesn't look like he's stressed out, in fact i notice he gets more active ( i'm assuming he's getting use to it again ) or does this stress them out to continuely get use to everything again? If that's even the case?

I don't know much yet, but I believe that it does stress them to make big changes. Their sense of security and territory gets disrupted and they have to check everything out and establish that it's safe all over again.

I try to make only one change at a time if possible. Add one piece of furniture or move something, wait a week and make sure he feeds, then make the next change, etc.

I am currently converting my BP from a small tub to a large enclosure and making it naturalistic....it's been a long process but so far he has seemed very content with it...he's sleeping well and eating well.

So that's my thoughts and my limited experience. Sorry I didn't notice this thread sooner :)

I am sure it will stress them out with big changes like that. In fact, lots of movement is a sign of stress usually.

He still eats fine. Still keeps to his hides. They're not huge hides, but i switch it up sometimes. I haven't noticed anything unusual with the changes. But i kind of figured it added some stress.
