    More Room for Snakes!
Well if everything goes well, my fiance and I will be moving in with a mutual friend this summer. We will be moving into a 3 bedroom townhome not far from where we all live now, so its convenient for everyone work and school wise. Rent is only 755 for the 3-bedroom, so that not bad at all.

And the cool thing is, I will be able to get more snakes and lizards! Woohoo! I'm so excited. I really hope everything goes through and they have one available for us this summer. I'll be able to have my snake and leo racks like I want and no grandmother to tell me I can't. They allow 'small' pets so I can bring my cats and my reptiles. :) I'm just so excited. :carrot:

Cool. One of the most liberating things I ever did was to move out of my mom's house; granted, I love her to bits, and we are very close, but the freedom you get.. wow!

sounds great, more room and more animals is the best, and im kinda jealous, because i spend more than that a month for a studio apartment in the city.

Well its mostly because the area isn't so great. I have a co-worker that lived in the townhomes right next door to where we will be moving into and she said when she lived there, her place was two doors down from the office and her place was broken into twice.

My mom wants me to take a gun course and get licensed to carry a gun, but unfortunatly, I think you have to be 21 to do that, and I'm only just turning 20 in May.

My co-worker says that if we do end up moving there, we should put plexiglass in all of our windows, that way its harder for someone to break in. Having hundreds to thousands of dollars worth of reptiles sitting in that apartment is not good if someone could break in.

But, we can't afford anything more and all three of us really need to get out of our parents' houses. I'm turning 20, my fiance is 18, and our friend is 18. We are all in college and need our own space and need to learn how to live on our own.

I wish you the best of luck. Maybe if you move out you will be able to get a boa or 2 as well and start up a small breeding group of herps. My best wishes go out for you!!

No boas for me just yet. My fiance and I plan on getting mostly corns and balls for now. Maybe a few years down the road.

I do want to breed leos though. I'm going to research and research until my eyeballs fall out. Then maybe next year try breeding.
