    minimum size tank???
What is a good minimum sized tank for a full grown bp? My montana is only 2 foot right now. In a 40 gallon breeder. I heard bp's can spend there whole lives in a 40 gal breeder comfortably but i was wondering if that was true?

    thanks

but, it doesnt make sense. my female will reach 5-6 foot i am assuming and 40 gal breeder dosent seem like it would house a 6 foot snake comfortably or is that just me??

it doesnt seem like it but the floor dimensions of a 40 gal ar 36" x 18" and that is fine for a full grown ball python.

check out the sizes of the cb-70 tubs used in rack systems. a 40 gal aquarium has a greater floor space and total volume than the tubs used by professionals.

im not saying that makes it any better or any worse. im just saying that it can work!

    good luck!

thanks, and i was just looking into a rack system because when she is mature enough to have babies i want to get an already proven breeding male. it doesnt nessicarily have to be a morph just a normal so i can see how the breeding thing goes and my first clutch i will sell half them and then my family and friends will get there pick.
