    upgrade of tank?
okay so she's about 4 and 1/2 feet long and she's in a 20 gal. she loves to explore and move around. question is i have a spare 55 gal sitting in garage. think i can put her in there? i know smaller is better in bp sense but seems too small when she goes "exploring". she loves to roam *at night* and when i watch her its like she could do soo much more in a bigger tank for her size. think i should put her in there and see if she likes it or just leave her in a 20 gal?

shes pretty good size, and a 55gal will give her plenty of room to roam around. just make sure you have plenty of hides and i wouldnt see a problem. The only reason I have seen people refrain from suing a bigger tank is that getting the temps and humidity right in a huge tank can be alot harder then in a smaller tank. but as long as you provide her with plenty of hides, and the temps and humidity are right i dont see why it wouldnt work. But im sure others will chime in that have alot more knowlwdge and give more pointers.

hey thanks! i figured the same. not hard to keep temps up due to being in texas and i have in tank humidifiers going on both my bp's. just wanted to see what some would say. i know alot say keep them in 20 gal's, but she's nice and big and she pokes her head out and slithers around looking for anything. i figure a lil more space would be enjoyable (given right temps and hides as you said).
