    New Craigslist ad... unbelievable
    http://houston.craigslist.org/pet/299677327.html

    If it gets flagged,

"Are you looking to make some easy money? If so then look no further, selling snakes can make you great money. I am looking to liquidate what I have left as I explore other ventures in my life.

    I still have:
    * a 15-18ft normal phase reticulated python (very tame)
    * a 15-17ft white phase albino reticulated python female ready to breed
    * a 9-11ft lavender phase reticulated python male
    * a beautiful 2 year old female red tail boa with a nice orange tint to her tail

I also have enclosures available for all and a few extra that are available for sale.

Please contact me at ***-***-**** for more information or to go over the adoption fees for any of the snakes."

"adoption fees"! Well that's rich isn't it! Geeze!

Gawd help those snakes if they get into the wrong hands of some fool with no experience with giants and thinking they are getting rich quick. What a mess! :(

Just when you think you've seen it all.. lol. Everyone here knows that most of your snake-generated money will go toward.. more snakes.. at least in my case it will.

When I go to classifieds sites I sometimes get a little disturbed by the language used... A lot of people are really selling animals as if they're... oh, I don't know, an antique lamp or something... "This will make you money down the road." I really appreciate the beauty of animals and it's kind of sickening when you degrade them into a monetary object.
