Thats it, i give up *throws the towel in*
    Warm side: 94.5 degrees
    Cool side: 82.6 Degrees
    Humidity: 54%

Thanks for all the advice you all have given me, and I have done everything anyone has mentioned, but I am determining Max is just one of those BP's that likes to soak, I went to get a drink and saw him climbing back into his water dish. So I'm done trying to find out why he does it and will just keep the cage where its supposed to be, if he keeps it up, I'm letting him be.

And heres to what I'm relating too in case anyone is completely lost.

use a smaller water bowl, use alot smaller hides. get them temps down a bit, like 90-92, 80-82. your thermometers can generally be off 2-3 deg. +/-. so 95 could really be 92 or it could be 98! i would rather error on the cool side then too warm.

i agree with vaughn, i'd definitely get those temps down.

remember, when a ball python is digesting it's dinner it's temp rises... so it adds another 2 or 3 degree... so a 94 degree tank is now 96-97
