See, I don't know. Last year was the first time I have dealt with a laying female; I remember Ginger got so huge and looked almost inflated, like the posts you see where peoples' snakes "swallowed a football." :) But this girl is not that big yet.. so when she sheds, I do think she has some size to gain before I'd think she would lay..
I feel like such a dummy, lol.

Sounds like the pre ovulation shed. If she is continues breeding with your male then she hasn't ovulated. If it is the pre ov she'll be hot to trot! :D

Yay! See, I think that she has ovulated; they were locked up all the time, and this past day or so, nothing, after I replaced him following a rest period for him. :)
