Yes, yes they do. I still have all my wisdom teeth much to my dentist's dismay. One of my top left ones is screwed up because another one grew under it. Not to mention they are getting impacted. BUT, typical me I'm too much of a wuss to get them removed. I've seen the end result and I admit it. I'm a wuss. Even when I'm in pain and can't open my mouth I refuse.
Luckily I take very good care of my teeth.

Mine have come in but they don't hurt. I was thinking about having them removed but my dentist said I have to much room back there theres really no need to unless I am in pain and they stay clean. I do NOT want another oral surgery. I had my tonsils taken out when I was 21. It was the absolute worst thing EVER. I swore I would never have oral surgery again. Needless to say, I know despise oatmeal and ice cream. I can't even stomach the thought of liquid painkillers.

I guess i was lucky, all four of mine came in and i had to only get two taken out. the doc told me that the tops dont hurt as much coming out. dont know as if i believe it, but my were pain free coming out. i just kept telling him i felt something and he kept shooting me up..:) the last one i had out was 2 months ago on my lunch break at work, and when right back afterwards....lucky i guess:)

Oh yeah plus i had an abcest in one of them...the novacane(SP?) works will if they hit the main nerve that runs down your face from the middle of your nose towards your mouth. the half of my face was numb for 4 hours..that was with 5 shots, and one hitting the nerve...

They put me under and removed all 4 of mine at once. Don't really remember too much about that day or the next because I was so loaded up on meds. All I remember is a jaw ache like someone just punched me for a few days......and getting my stiches removed by a cute nurse ;)
