Flames and Blushing?

I don't know if anyone can clarify the difference b/w flames and blushing.

How about a visual?

Nope, flames are the lightened blotches on the sides of the snake that start wide at the belly scales and narrow towards the back ... blushing is where the faded patches are along the spine.
