Quick shot of the little guy
Had to take him out since he dumped the water bowl and messed in his tub so I figured I'd take a quick picture of him while I had the chance (he usually hides from the camera or goes dark on me http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/ima...s/rolleyes.gif ).

I love Bluefields' sizes. I think I might cross a male with a albino female in the future, but that might tick some people off, what to do, what to do? haha. My friend's girlfriend has a 1.2 trio of them and the male she has is unbelievably hot! Smokin hot! She won't let me borrow him though :( . Darn her! lol.

    UGH!

Don't cross these. Keep them pure.
I've had a few ask me if I would consider crossing these with albinos. I even had a very respectable breeder ask me to cross my female with his male motley.

Half the boa community doesn't even know what these are yet. Too many crosses out there. Listen to your friends girlfriend. She sounds great:D

Haha, I'd like to keep a pure line and then cross out a male, but time will tell. C'mon!--"designer red tails"? haha. It won't mess the male up, it will just creat a really small albino! Tell me that wouldn't be wicked?

this probably has already been answered or maybe i didnt catch it, but why would it be a bad thing to breed a bluefield(?) with an albino? more RTB morphs?

Because these are pure locale nic boas and to get an albino or any other type or morph, you need to cross them with a different type of boa that is not a pure locale animal.

There are so few pure animals around that can be traced back to the point of collection that I do not think they should be mixed with colombian or any other type of boa.

I dunno, was it a nic motley or a colombian... and nic motley could be tempting... and I even like keeping pure bloodlines.
