    Cave Hides heating?
So I am really thinking about getting those cave hides that split into two sections, really like how they look and think he would like those ALOT more then a half log. My question is, it says on the box to NOT place the cave over a UTH. Well if you have one take on the warm side and one on the cool side, and you have a UTH, what do you do? And to anyone that has these, do you just put a little bit of bedding in the cave or leave it empty?

If your talking about the Exoterra cave, yes I have two of them. One on the hot side, one on the cool side. I haven't had any problems. Keeps the heat well also between 92- 94 on the hot side. 80-82 cool side. I like them.

Yes. I have a digi thermometer probe in the hide, and keep an eye on the temps till I get a t- stat. It's been around 92 - 94.
