    Thirsty?
My BP was blue about 5 days ago. Now her eyes are normal and her skin is really wrinkled. I think it's just because she hasn't shed yet but I read that wrinkled skin is a sign of dehydration.

So.... lack of shed or lack of water?

Are you providing proper humidity and clean water?

Wrinkled skin can be a sign of dehydration. Nothing a quick soak should not be able to handle though ;)

Then I really would not be too worried. The skin is probably just about to slump off. But go for a soaking if you are worried...it won't hurt anything ;)

    Hi,

I think one of the tips on whether to worry or not was as follows,

If the "wrinkles" run from back to belly (direction wise) then it's more likely to be shedding or fat. :)

If they run the length of the snake (i.e head to tail) then it may be dehydration or other causes.

Now someone explain why the above is wrong please so I can go say rude words in the 8ball chat. :taz:

Mine usually get a few little wrinkles here and there right before he sheds. I wouldn't be worried. Soaking never hurts, though. :)
