    Mixed Veggies?
    Hey all-

I bought a bag of frozen mixed veggies (pea, carrots, corn, and green beans), that use humans aren't going to eat anytime soon. Is it ok to defrost a bit of it and give it to my rats and mice? I give them occasional carrot slivers from my salads and they love 'em.

I would think it would be fine. I know i give my rats carrots, celery and things like that off of my salad and such.

Should be fine. I usually give our rats frozen peas and other frozen veggies in the summer for a cool treat (sorta like rattie ice cream lol).

I went a head and thawed a handful. They're not both fighting over a green bean, each with one end in the other's mouth. :::eye roll::: gotta love 'em.

Give them a handful of cooked spaghetti or one hard boiled egg (shell on)...it's hilarious watching the tussle. Rats don't share well! LOL

Try putting a handfull of live crickets in their tank...Its looks like Rocky Balboa trying to catch the chicken!
