    Mites
Does anyone know the gestation period of a smake mite? Also, do they lay eggs on the animal or in the enviorment, or both? I've been treating for about a week, and I want to make sure I don't over or under do it.

    Thanks

Can I ask what you are using to eradicate your mites, because some products on the market will only kill adult mites which is why it is very important to treat with the proper product to prevent any further re-infestation.

I've been using reptile relief, and have seen a great improvment. I can't find PAM locally, and I just read something about predatory mites that seemed interesting. THere is still a fair amount of head soaking with one of my females, but everyone else is lookin good.

I got the three females from someone who bred his het albino male with a het albino female and got nothing. Three months later he bred her with a visual albino and got no visuals. So, on the off chance that they were from stored sperm from the het male he wouldn't sell them as 100% het. I got a great deal on them, and if they prove out, so much the better. They are late 06, so it will be a while.

While reptile relief might be an helpful temporary solution while waiting for a better treatment, PAM is still the one treatment that will eradicate mites fast and for good, affecting all the stages of development of the mites

Here is where you can find PAM provent-a-mite online http://entirelypets.stores.yahoo.net/proventamite.html

Aas far as locally some speciality reptile pet store might have PAM
