AP cages and Thermostat probe? where?
For those of you that have Ap cages. Where do you place your stat probe. In the grove or on the heat cable. What would be better and what's the difference?

I tape mine on the inside of the cage. On the bottom of the cage, under the substrate.

I put mine in the slot under the cage near the routed heat cable. There is a slot there specifically for the thermostat probe. I also tape it in to make sure it doesn't fall out. It is nice being on the outside because the snake can't move it but it is close enough to the heating element to get a good reading.
