I think it really depends on what you're looking for in a pastel. And both lines will have spectacular examples and not-so-hot examples of the pastel look. As I understand it, Graziani pastels tend to be very bright with tons of blushing....while Nerd lemons tend to be very bright with dark, contrasting black markings, not so much blushing. So, it really just depends on what YOU like.

I read that NERD lemon pastels hold their color well as they age

Yes...I was definitely speaking in very general terms. I've seen examples of both types of traits in both lines of pastels.

yeah, I wasn't trying to argue...I know how you meant it :)
I thought it was a useful generalization actually. I am still learning about this stuff myself!

No not alot of NERD Lemon pastels hold there color, they do produce great yellow snakes. but you need to pick thru all the average ones and raise up a group of them to get the best ones. I think that can be said about all the pastel lines out there. :sunny:

This a my graziani pastel with a touch of orange ghost in him. he has retained his looks fairly well considering he is an older snake. :) https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...t.or.ghost.JPG
