    Another shed question.
I have read that the BP gets shy and stays in the hide alot during a shed. My BP usually does that. But this time Chocolate is doing the opposite, she is coming out a lot and getting in the shade area. She even scooted her water bowl to the otherside of the tank to lay on the bare tank bottom. Shade side is about 75 - 80, warm side 85 - 90. Could she be being more sensitive to the heat right now? She has gotten more belly pink this time then ever before, her eyes are just turnning today. She has soaked alittle the previous 2 days, but now just rests in the cool side. Normal? Thanks to all.

Your temps need to be higher. Try to keep the cool at at least 80 and no higher than 83 or 84 and warm should be 90-94

my male Baby will move everything over to the warm side of the tub and get under the newspaper of the cool end. he gets pink belly really bad. like hot pink! then 2 days later he turns all blueish, and sheds 4 days after that. he then moves everything from the warm end and curls up in his hide waiting for a meal. I could set my calender to his shed cycles.

Thanka for the suggestions and comparisons. She was curled on the cool side when I got home, but didn't get the water dish to move over so she had her middle all kinked up in a hump, her tail in her hide and her head by the dish. I moved the dish, sprayed her and the tank down and then she went in the hide. She is such a treasure to me, I worry what I could accidently do wrong and hurt her. My daughter-in-law says I forget she is a snake, it is concern that I will get chocked by her or something. :colbert: Not to happen..I'd be a rather large mouthful!! :) And common sense preveals. I have to get the humidity up in the tank, so I will read through threads. But would appreciate and "low" cost suggestions. I am $$ tight right now and can't go into an expensive set up. But won't pinch so tight as to risk my chocolates health. So fill me in everyone. Thanks in advance. Joannarea
