    Wanted: Advice from a programmer!
A pet rescue group I work with is looking at creating a route-mapping utility for our transports.

It would need to be web-based, where volunteer drivers could enter their contact info, location, and availability, as well as for transport coordinators to be able to enter routes and see other routes in the same areas.

Right now we are in the "Wouldn't it be cool if.....?" stage. What we need is advice on the feasibility and method. I have no idea how you go about finding somebody to complete this, or how much compensation they would expect. The group is setting up 501c status and should be able to start pulling in donations soon, but I'm not handling that aspect of things and don't know where they are on it...they don't mind paying for it, but we are on a rescue budget and having some idea of what to plan for would be a huge help.

Please PM me if you know anybody who would be willing to discuss it with us.
