    Do you do Tofu?
So--I bought some tofu for the first time today, and I'm going to try it out in a stirfry tomorrow. I have some marinating in italian dressing (because I've discovered everything tastes good marinated in italian dressing). But I was wondering what some other good ways (besides soup) were to eat tofu?

We were discussing the merits of soy in my nutrition class, so I'm going to try some soy products out to see how/if I like them :)

It tastes good sauteed with vegetables. I have many vegetarian friends (actually I'm the only meat eater in the group) so if want more recipes I can prob get some good ones for you.

p.s. I also had it with pasta and a peanut butter dressing once... to good for words

It'd rock if you could snag me some recipies! I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination (I LOVE my steaks medium-rare)...but I'm trying to watch my calories and get more calcium simultaniously :) If I could replace meat with tofu and beans a few nights a week, it would help!

So, ask your veggie friends for recipies with lots of flavor but not lots of calories/fat :D

    Thanks!

Ever have miso soup? It's the little bouncy white cubes in the soup :) It appears in asian dishes a lot, has no flavor of its own, but kinda absorbs the flavor of whatever it's cooked with.

Well my friends with the good recipes are both on vacation and the only other one online says to wing it. He says if you like the looks of bananas put bananas in. Although he did give me somthing more concrete, tofu, egg, bread crums, and soy sauce. Mix the first three together until the crumbs stick cook till theyre brown and add soy sauce as you wish. I'd try it out a bit at a time to see if you like it first though. He's not great on instructions. :P
