    The decision to sell..
..is never an easy one. I have only so many slots in the rack, and needed to limit my collection b/c of heating bills.. so I decided to sell my orange het, DocBar. I found a cool local girl with lots of experience in balls and burms; it just upsets me to see one go. But this is for the best; he does not figure into my breeding plans, and I really had no paperwork stating he was guaranteed het, so I sold him as a poss. het. But this takes a load off; I hate having odd cages around the house; now everyone can be neatly stacked in the rack even after breeding. It is practice I guess, for selling future hatchlings; but never easy. :)

I am sorry to hear you had to let one go. At least you found someone who is good with balls, I am sure DocBar will be well taken care of.

Ugh, I am going thru that right now, I have an extra male pastel and I am thinking of selling him but dang it I am attached. Glad you found a great place for him to go :) I see why Adam (and everyone else) has such a hard time letting go.

It is tough. I know many people start out with normals (males in particular) and end up selling them off when they graduate to morphs; this is not what I am doing. LaVey is my original normal boy, and I plan on keeping him until he slithers his last day. :) DocBar was the second-last snake I got.. but I am confident that he is going to a good new home.

Oh yea, Casey, my first is never going anywhere. Even if he is "only" a normal, he is and will always be my favorite.

Yup, Kashmire is my first and a normal boy, and not going anywhere either.

It is tough to do, I had to trim down my collection of females to make room for females that were more in line with the looks (reduced) that I wanted.

I placed four girls with Joanna, so it's nice knowing that they are well cared for, and I get to see updated pictures of them!

And then Sully was supposed to be a girl, but ended up being a boy and he's living with Becky now.

Still doesn't make it easy saying goodbye, but it is nice knowing that they are in good homes!

See, the reason that I know this is the right thing is, I am not That sad about it.. now if I imagine selling any of my others I get a feeling of "nope, I will never do that.."
