    Don't gaboons usually have rectangles running down their back? I'd have to agree with Rapture on saying D. acutus, it even has the horn and heat pits

    actually from what i have found its called a hundred pace snake

    From what I gather from that guy's description (it's in french), he's basically introducing himself, and saying that he has interesting venomous snakes and to contact him about them...so that's no help.

    And in the picture's link (descriptor) there's the word "elapids"... Don't know if that means anything to you?
