    Different thermometers
Ok, I have an Acu-Rite thermometer in my tank, it sits on the cool side and the probe in attached to the glass just inside her war hide. It seems to be working well, measureing the temps and humidity just fine, but I also have a different thermometer (Flukers...flat little 3"x1" kinda thing) that my friend let me use before I got mine. It is also sitting on the glass just inside her warm hide. The difference in the readings is so extreme though I don't know which one to trust. I know they will be off a bit seeing as they probably measure from a different place and what not, but I have gotten readings as far off as 85 from the Flukers and 97 from the Acu-Rite at the same time. I have been kinda taking the average and saying that is the temp, but I want to know what it really is. Has anyone had any experiance with these kinda of variances? or know which thermometer I should trust? I'm just tired of guessing and possibly doing the wrong thing for my snake. =/
