    lighting in rack
I plan to build a rack to house my ball pythons, Should I be using heat lights as well as the undertank heat? I think it would be a good idea because it will keep the ambient temps up and i would be able to do night/day cycles.. if i do do this, what kind of lights would i be able to use to work good in a rack.. if you have a rack with lights, how do you have it set up and with what type of lights? thanks

I'm not aware of anyone who has a rack with lights. I don't use lights and would think that lights would just defeat the good humidity you normally get with racks.

If you want to keep ambient temps up, how about a space heater instead?

thats good, it seems like it would be a pain, but according to this page on 8ballpythons.com http://www.8ballpythons.com/journal/...ngcalendar.htm, it looks like adam uses lights and he must be using racks right?

My tubs aren't dark, the inside of the rack is, but daylight and room light enters from the front of the tub (which is opaque).
