Heat Tape.

    Heat Tape.
    I just got some 11 inch heat tape. It rocks! But my question is I have the T-stat probe taped onto the tape with aluminum tape from ReptileBasics.com. Do I put the tape OVER the probe or tape the wiring and just let the probe rest on the tape? Thanks

    Tape the actual probe so that it can't "go" anywhere and possibly screw with the temperature.

    I was told to make sure the tape covers the probe, so outside temp fluctuations can't effect it as much. Mine's set up like this:
