New To the Forum

Hey all!!

I'm new to the forum and fairly new to BPs! I adopted her to make sure she went to a good home. She's supposed to be Hep Albino, but who knows. My roommate hated her the first night, but when we watched a movie and she fell asleep in my hand, he changed his mind! HAHA!

Welcome to BPNet! Where'd you adopt her from and did they provide paperwork on her being het for Albino? Whatever she is, she's cute! :)

A gentleman not far from here that worked for a reptile/exotic animal rehabilitation center had to get rid of a lot of his snakes. He told me that when he bought her, he was told she was het for Albino and something else. But he forgot the something else but tried to show me some markings on her belly. Any clue what he was trying to show me? 30 gal aquarium, light, pad, climing stick and hide-out plus Bella for $60! She loves to eat, be held and help me study. you are at a good site to learn a lot about what ever he was trying to show you. LOL
if you would post some pics of her belly in the place he was pointing we might be able to help out. might be the het pied marker. but if you got a female het pied for 60 bucks you are a luck SOB

First off welcome!

Second what he was trying to show you was a "het Pied marker". This is something that many people debate in the breeding community. If your not going to breed her I wouldn't worry about genetics and just enjoy your great looking little snake.

i have about 10 normal females with that marker LOL. but when i start making het pieds you know wich ones i am for sure keeping.

i dont know if i want a male but i might take some females that are 66% hets if they have the marker. pm me
