    it was...first it was too cold now too hot...i need to find the right bulb, i think 100W should be good

    I'd suggest a tub. Best way to keep a good temp and buying bulbs every few weeks adds up. You're better off with a t-stat and a UTH.

    what thermometers you using? I had a bulb that said it was 120 degrees in the tank and then put a 50w red bulb in and it said 100 degrees, but that was with the stick on stats, now i have some digi ones and its only 80 degrees...
