    If you mean this one:

I subscribe and I really enjoy it. Sometimes there is an issue that doesn't fully strike my fancy, but even then, I can find interesting stuff. Most issues are chock full of stuff I enjoy reading and learning.

I am a subscriber. It generally has good information and decent articles, so it would not be a waste of money. However, you have to have a general interest in reptiles and amphibians to enjoy it....because they cover alot of topics.

This is true. If all you're interested in is one or two species of snakes...or even "just snakes" in general...the magazine may hold a lot less interest for you overall.

Well see i have always loved reptiles, even though i have never owned one before my BP but i would love to learn more about all reptiles and i would love to own more as well. I think it would be some good reading material to learn more about reptiles, am i wrong?

I pick one up every now and again if the cover mentions any species I'm interested in. I end up reading the whole thing, though and it's usually pretty good.

Nope...not wrong at all. I learn really cool stuff about new species every month. I say go for it. :)

no your not wrong, if you want to learn alot about all different types of reptiles i think you will really enjoy the magazine. it has species profiles, people in reptiles, classifieds, crosswords and lots of other great stuff. but like the others said, you have to like all reptiles. like i dont really care for turtles or tortises and every once in a while they have an all turtle issue or all venemous issue but otherwise it covers all reptile species. give it a try :)

I thought it was worth the sub price if for no other reason than the one time I saw a picture of Kara with her lovebird!

Our kids probably read it more frequently than we do as we often find they have run off with it - and one has all the "centerfolds" bordering his walls.

They had some really great info once on plated lizards - much more thorough and centralized than what i had been able cobble together from different sources on the web (at the time at least).
