How long can a young Bp go w/out eating
One of my 06 bps decided to refuse food for 3 weeks in a row.How long before I should start worrying. Nothing much has changed, I've been feeding them a regular sized mouse, is that too big?
thanks

They can go off-feed for several months as long as your BP does not lose too much weight it is ok, however I would first double check everything,
Temperature 80-84 on the cool side, 90-94 on the warm side (measured with a digital thermometer/hydrometer for accuracy)
Humidity 50%-60%
Enclosure in a low traffic area
Hides tight enough.
How big is your BP and how big is the enclosure?
Going off-feed can be related to breeding, husbandry, overfeeding, illness

Deborah is right Ball's can go "off feed" for months and 3 weeks is nothing for them...I have some right now that haven't eatin since November.
Make sure your setup is correct (see Deborah's outline) and that the snake isn't losing weight and everything is OK.

Depending one the age and weight of the animal. If it is real young 6 months and younger I'd say give it another week then worry. A late 06 Oct/Nov or around that date born should not be refusing food. Check all the temps and let me know if your right on there I give you a laundry list of things to try before you worry.
P.S I have a male pastel that did this to me before I found his little trick..
Take a deap breath and I'll et with you tomorrow.
