Rodeo? / My night last night....

Who else here has gone to a rodeo?

My friend Ben who rides bulls took me to my first one last night. I had a BLAST!!!! We got there early so we could get good seats. Good seats we got... first row right at the end, right next to where all the "behind the scenes" stuff was going on.

The little kids who were riding sheep were just to cute. Also the mechanical bull was cool too. Bronc riding, barrel racing, the rodeo clowns... oh man! We just had a total fun, wild, crazy, country loving, cowboy/girl kinda night.


Also there is nothing like driving down a road in the middle of no where with no head lights... just going by the light of the moon in a HUGE noisy pick up truck, heat on, windows down, blearing country music and just singing along at the top of our lungs at 12am.


Great great times.
I so didn't want to come back on home. I hate the city. My heart don't belong here.

Funny you say it. I took my girlfriend to a Professional Bull Riders Assoc. event last night. It was awesome and she loved every second of it

I love the Houston Livestock show and rodeo!

Awesome :) I have a ton of respect for those girls (and guys) who do high-speed barrel racing; as well as the other events.. WOW! So cool that you had a good time!

I freak out every time my friend Ben gets on a bull. Those few seconds feel like hours and the whole time my heart is in my throat.

I've never really barrel raced like in competition like that, but I do love to barrel race on my own free good time.

I love how the one horse just kinda stood there after throwing the girl.. like "Ok, what should I do now.."

I know the first time I got bucked off (at a full out gallop BTW) I flew over my horses head and still some how managed to hold on to the reins and Dakota was looking at me like "Mom... why are you laying on the ground?". I think that was the very first time I cussed. :X
