    Tim.....Angolans are often refered to with "dwarf" in their names.....Angolan Dwarf Python.....African Dwarf Python....or just Dwarf Python...

    I have never figured out why the term "dwarf" is used though....I am not sure if 'Python anchietae' means 'dwarf python'....or if they are just described as 'dwarf' because they are one of the smaller snakes in its range....

    maybe someone could shed some light on it.
