    anna nicole funeral
Sitting here watching TV and I flipped to a CNN show and a guy was talking about the Anna Nicole funeral and how people were receiving "tickets" to the funeral and the church where the funeral was held was charging $5000 per satellite in the parking lot and $2000 per photographer.

He also went on to say how he did not care that a drunk, white-trash woman who was a waste of life and went on to talk about how we need to be praising the soldiers fighting to protect us from terrorism.

I honestly think she did nothing with her life and got fame where she should not have, but I think this guy was being a little cruel and disrespectful for those passed on before us.

    Any thoughts?

K, here it is.... my thoughts on Anna at 3 am.... Sure I laughed at her when she was obviouslly messed up and making a ??? of herself.... Did I think that she made her fourtune the "American Way"... no... Did I wonder who her PR people/friends were, and how could they let her get to that point??? YES. Would I copy off Anna's test in school.... ummmm, no. Am I saying I agree with all her decisions... I don't know, because they were hers to make.

Is it sad that a mother lost her son, VERY. Do I think that her bad state progressed to worse after her son's death, while still adjusting to having a new baby?
    ABSOUTELY.

So, for all the respect that she might have, or might NOT have earned durring her time in the spot light.... whatever she is due, give it to her now.
There are plenty of people out there that have made it by doing much worse than being a beautyful, goofy, chemically altered, whatever you wanna label her....

    just my :2cent: worth.

It's just a sad story all around; I seriously think that she had mental illnesses. To degrade her after her death just does not feel right to me; it is not like she murdered people or something..
I agree with Laura in saying, "There are plenty of people out there that have made it by doing much worse than being a beautyful, goofy, chemically altered, whatever you wanna label her...."

I'm with Laura and Jen on this one. There's no point and little compassion in saying mean things about a person that can no longer defend herself. The fact is this woman is gone, whatever mess she made of her life shouldn't have been our business in the first place but we like to watch public trainwrecks and shows like Entertainment Tonight make a fortune off people like her (and the viewing public that can't get enough of this stuff). How long has Marilyn Monroe been dead and we are still going on about that poor woman and how she died.

I worry more about Anna Nicole's daughter and the fact that poor child has little chance of any kind of a normal life. She's a commodity to a lot of folks it seems and that's terribly sad really.

I agree it is terrible for this little girl. All these guys coming out of the woodwork over wanting to be her father...when more than likely all they want is the piece of the pie she might be entitled to. By time she is 18 they will have spent it all anyway.

I really feel bad for her.

Yep usually it's the other way, men not wanting to admit paternity (sorry don't mean to offend anyone). Put some major dollar signs on this poor child though and every male that's been near her mother wants to call himself "daddy"...:(

I was no fan of Anna Nicole in life, but I also believe the poor woman deserves to rest in peace. I wish they would just let her be now.
