    Ultimate Snake
Did anyone see the special on NGD ( nat. geo discovery ) channel yesterday?
    It was about constrictors.
They showed a clip first time ever filmed of a African Rock python who was actually staying and minding her babies and protecting them. The babies where all around and under her. One of the researchers said this is not the first time he has witnessed snakes staying and caring and protecting their young. Kinda looked like a mama dog and her pups.

Kinda blows a hole in the old belief that snakes have young'ins and just keep moving on.

Said when she goes in the underground hide the babies follow her.
