heat lamps, i have been struggeling with this for a while now im either a little too hot ot a little too cold i have two lamps right now one on each side, im starting to get frustrated, ive tryed with just one lamp and foil on top to trap the warm air but my cold side is like 8 degrees to low when i do that, would it be better to be a little warm or a little cold? i dont know if i can get it perfect i also have a uth on the cool side

You need a thermostat on the warm side and one on the cool side so you can control and maintain proper temps.

Try using a thermostat. Ranco would be appropriate for you or you can up to the Helix which is more for the hardcore breeders.

wouldnt the lights kick on and off constantly? maybe if i switch sides, move the hot side to the side with the UTH and the cool side the side with not uth

Use a flouresent for you lighting, and get a ceramic heat emitter hooked up to a t-stat and you should get what you want. I would just seggest getting some flexwatt and a t-stat.

An UTH (under tank heater) like flex watt or one of those zoo-med or reptico ones on a mid-level t-stat would solve all your worries
