Happy 8th Birth-day!

Today is her birth day and my birthing day. 8 years ago today she came into my arms at 5:34pm. After 4 days of labour... waiting to have her in my arms.

So... she's 8 she's 8 she's 8 she's 8!!! :sunny:

Gotta run... the party guest has arrived and we are off for a big day in the city!!!

My mom has a friend whose daughter was born three days after mee, so on her daughter's birthday she always calls and asks, "Are you in labor yet?" :giggle:

Nope Kitty it's her daughter's birthday but also a celebration of Aleesha giving birth to her 8 years ago. Aleesha always sends congrats to our moms for their "birthing days" when any of us have a birthday around here, kind of acknowledging the mom for the birthing as well as the person celebrating another year. Personally I think that's rather sweet (and having gone through 4 labors myself...I support that idea! LOL)
