    Is it a lost cuase to raise a baby rat? I bought some for food and I really like one. His eyes are open, he isnt crazy active, but crawls a lot. How would I raise him? Thanks

    I had some that I raised from that age; actually, their eyes were barely opened. I used the lab block food by SunSeed, and I wet it with water into a kind of soft mush. I placed it on a rubber cat food lid with some water on it so they could lap that up.. they all lived. I changed the food/water daily to prevent mold and put them in a warm part of the house (around 75 degrees.)
