    Feeding
I just recently purchased my first ball python and have had him for about 2 weeks. Last sunday we fed him for the first time and he has not pooped last weeks food out yet. I was told to feed him once a week, but i don't want to feed him if he hadn't passed last weeks food. Is this normal or is something wrong. He is about a month and a half old. Thanks in Advance

No you dont need to wait for him to deficate before feeding him, some snakes may go once a week, month, day etc. it just depends on them.

He will be fine. just think you eat 3-6 times before you "vacate", lol

Defecation should not interfere with your feeding schedule, just keep feeding your BP on schedule.

Some go every week, some every other week some once a month this is totally normal.
